Behind the scenes: my streaming setup
I get asked this all the time on stream: « what’s your setup? ». Rather than answering every time in chat, here’s the full article detailing all the gear behind the streams.
On the audio side, the mic is the centerpiece: a dynamic mic on an articulated arm, because voice quality is what makes people stay or leave a stream in the first ten seconds. Lighting comes next: a ring light and red LED strips that set the vibe you see on camera.
The PC runs recent games without breaking a sweat while encoding the stream, and the red backlit mechanical keyboard — the one you can sometimes hear clacking on stream — has almost become a character of the channel in its own right.
Next steps: upgrade the camera for sharper shots, and rework the room’s acoustics. I’ll keep you posted right here, with before/after photos. If you have questions about the gear, the Discord is the best place to ask.
